The last few days in school

Nostalgia sets in when i walk by the corridors and pavements/ lecture halls of TP. I cannot believe that school would be ending in a matter of weeks and thinking about it makes me feel pretty sad, I am definitely gonna miss TP, it has been such a major part of my life but well than again i remind myself, it was likewise for PHS but I got over it over the years. Life will not wait for us, as the saying goes time and tide waits for no man. This phase will soon be over and I would be stepping into another part of life. But TP has been simply so enjoyable and i love the time spent here with my friends and all my wonderful coursemates. It has been such a peculiar course with many elements that other courses do not offer. Sentosa academy (TAS), SSM and culinary in TCM, internship and of course our final run, not to forget those memorable trips like Melbourne and Cambodia, memories that I would always keep close to my heart. <3

Alright, enough sappy talk here.

CNY has been pretty good for everyone, hopefully. And I put on a kilo eating tonnes of sweets and goodies everyday but I am enjoying it :) Wicked with the girls was amazing, good storyline, endearing meaning underlining the show. Spectacular.

Series I

This week has been pretty insane for me but i love it! (:

Caught Janessa's Jazz concert @ the Esplanade on Thursday and that girl can sing. She has sucha  lovely and amazing voice i was so wowed by it :)

Followed by a Super packed weekend which was so enjoyable for me and hopefully the birthday girl as well! Celebrated Bri's birthday over a simple stay @ Rider's Lodge as well as dinner @ Picotin! It was a nice, simple and short gathering and all of us were present, finallyyyyy! Caught Jack and Jill, its a must watch for me and it really cracked me up! Monopoly deal followed thereafter and we slept till the next day despite the environment. Took a couple of pictures which i will be uploading soon! Lunch at Old Brown Shoe cafe, unique little thing sitting in the middle of Bukit Timah.

There's so much more to life.

Was reading a couple of blogs and i felt really inspired by these people. Taught me to look at things from a new perspective. 2012 has barely begun and i want it to be a year of positivity.
Struck me that there have been times that i have been too demanding, sensitive, unreasonable, selfish, self-absorbed in the past year and simply failed to reflect or think about it. It's always their fault when i have had conflicts with people, nitpicking and being unappreciative about the people around me who love me dearly. Perhaps, their giving in and spoiling me has caused me to become like this but i am certain that i want 2012 to begin on a different note. It's only when people start giving upon or walking away from you that you start to reflect and realise that there is an issue that you have. By then, its too late and i would not want that day to occur before i start to realise that i have an issue. A way that i constantly remind myself to learn to be a better person is through the life lessons/mistakes from people, and tell myself never to commit them.
I believe that there should be a new lesson learnt each day and i really hope to achieve my goal by penning down/ noting down live lessons to be learnt each day. I do not want to be a self-absorbed person who constantly expects but never gives. Let's start off this day by,

"LIVE AND LET LIVE"

School has started for two weeks now and i am still trying to get into the mood :)
That aside, CNY is coming in 2 weeks. I love it! So looking forward to it man, more money and of course good food and fun with the people i love.

Have no idea why am i so angsty this few days. Keep faulting people and i get irritated at the slightest things. Goshness.
Anyway gonna focus on the people i love and ditch those that don't really deserve much :)

So anyway, met raylene dear after like such a long while, been edges since i saw her. Seriously. Hahaha we had a pretty good time in town and i was nagging @ her the whole time for issues that shall not be discussed here :) So yeah we caught 50-50 the show that she thought was a comedy turns out to be a pretty sad show about cancer joseph gordon levitt's starring in. Headed down to Serangoon to chill @ some tau huey shop and faruq came as well! So the four of us talked for awhile about our future plans and all, really sets me thinking. Time and tide waits for no man, gonna plan in greater detail soon.
Still, God has a better plan and i hope he unfolds it for me.

Did some shopping with my famfam today and i am happy with my loot for CNY! been so long since i shopped with my mum and sis <3

Still sad that the theme park was closed :( But still, holidays with friends are always great. This would be the start of holidays with friends. There would be more next year, hopefully 2-3 travels next year, keeping my fingers crossed. Yes. BKK in March i can't wait, shop shop shop and eat eat eat again. Than Korea in December to end the wonderful year <3 And of course a few mini travels in between probably short trips to places like Bali and Phuket ? And if it comes true the cruise trip with my cliquey, let's make it work !

So anyway, I am still loving 2012 ;) Things have been pretty smooth though i haven't got down proper to setting my resolutions? Yes a few here and there but nothing thoroughly planned, need to get down to it. Tonight, maybe.

Last night was good. I love spending time with myself, sorting out my thoughts, reflecting and doing things i love? Doodled a little here and there and i guess i found my inspiration once again. Today was better, read a few things to motivate & inspire me & am gonna get down to them tonight. But of course, projects come first and i shall complete them before hobbies. TGIF because there is no school tomorrow! Prom is on the 29th March and i am excited, i am so sure it will be a blast!
