Raindrops Cafe

Raindrops are falling on my head

                                                                 Celebrating J's birthday

The food was good (with the exception of the chicken wings)but service wise, horrible. 21 Jump street was hilarious!

So last week has been one busy week for me and I have been enjoying myself quite alot.
Went out with Nicholas! Had Fish and Co. and we caught Dark Shadows! Finally a proper full day out with him (: I love it! Headed home in the evening because he wanted to play Diablo. Ikr. But anyway the entire day pretty much made up for it.

Met the clique for dinner at an Italian restaurant, La Noce. Loved the food! I never never would get sick of pizza. EVER. Chilled over at Tim's and sang some songs with the guitar. I like this kind of chill out sesions.

Friday - when my dear girlfriends and I cook; Yes we did not burn the kitchen down. In fact, i think we did it pretty neat! Okay fine, confession adeline did most of the cooking. But still we did pretty well. Brina LWN's only contribution is chopping the onions...(which cannot be seen in this picture). But than again, thats not a surprise! :) Anyway we should totally have more of such days.

Post now, Pictures later.
Saturday was awesome!!! Okay me being me. I love having meaningless fun. Eat, chit chat, drink, chillax. Can? But of course I don't mean that the people I met were meaningless. Dinner with Mr L and the the rest of the guys at Praleum Wine Bistro. Good experience, its a gem hidden along duxton road. Fine dining restaurant. The wine comes from vending machines. How cool is that right? You can choose if you want a tasting portion, half a cup or a whole cup. We had some really fine food. I loved it!

Headed to Soul and woo. I had so much fun! Played some games, had some drinks and danced. Okay not to the lame thai songs. :)
Sunday was spent going down to Downtown East for the class chalet but only me and Ky were there. The rest came when I left for my family dinner I guess? Caught some shows like New girl. It was damn funny, accompanied with snacks. Laughed our asses off!
I shall upload the photos really soon!

And if you do want to know what is my uni application status: Pending. Keeping my fingers crossed that one of the universities will accept me.

Jayesslee concert & Shake

Tickets to the show
whilst waiting for the pair of pretty twins to make their appearence

aren't they lovely?

Sonia on the left, janice on the right

It was a well spent $78.
Glad that we made it to catch that pair of talented sisters perform. Was really moved and blessed by their performance. Enjoyed the entire show, best part of it all was when they gave God all the glory and sang Amazing grace. God really blesses yhose who glorify Him.
:)

The after party (amongst ourselves)

Look who's hotter? (Us, the girls duh!)
P.S we were just posing for the photo so for those ppl who are about to overreact, chill uh.

                                                                     loving this shot
                                                                 Brennan's face, so epic
Headed to meet the guys for Shake after the concert. Quite a bad experience but of course, its the people that counts! Rather eventful night but it was enjoyable afterall, an outing with the guys around can never go wrong. They really crack me up and they can come up with all sorts of nonsense. So we headed to Swee Choon for supper after that and the night ended well! Love such outings with the ssch clique, it is always fun!

Oh and yes, I am almost done with planning for my birthday. !6th June for my dear churchmates, booking the function room in tim's condo and for 17th i have booked amara resorts to celebrate my birthday and adeline's with the ssch clique and poly friends. Now, I can't wait!

I can only find the time to take my mind off things, blog and think about stuff when i am working. Ironic. Was speaking to a very close friend yesterday, and i was kind of intrigued by whatever he said. Came more of as a shock though but i am grateful that we had that talk. Because probably you are my one true friend, out of all my friends.
Guilty, but it is a reality check for me. I need to start investing in the lives of others, spending time and effort to find out about their lives and how are they, truly.
Many a time, I find myself way to nonchalent and apathetic but i have never seen it as a problem. Not till when we held this conversation. Reason that i didn't find my attitude a problem was because i thought no one knew but after alot of thinking and talking. I realised that everyone knew. My mentality is wrong and it has become a problem.
i have always been superficial in dealing with every single friend, and the sad thing is, i like things to stay this way. Everybody comes together, chitchat, have fun and make merry. Thats more than sufficient for me. I don't like responsibilities, i don't like obligations, so it seems like this is best. But when i think about it, its sad that i do have a lot of friends, but if ever i am in trouble, i do not know who to call. Friends to hang out, aplenty. True friends...Hm.
I choose my friends, i am biased. I base my feelings to hang out on my moods.
I am aloof & detached. I am not faking it, but sometimes i really don't gvie a shit at all. Maybe its the fear of getting hurt in any friendship or relationship that caused me to be like that since young.

Than i realise a few traits about myself. I am quite a quitter. Whenever somthing wrong occurs, be it in a friendship or relationship, i quit. I give up, i seek an alternative and i walk away. When i get sick of certain friends/ feel that there is something wrong with them,i do not bother to wait, stop, listen and solve. I simply make my escape. Stop giving up, stop quitting, Belicia.
Glad that i realised whats wrong with me so that at least i can make ammends now? Treat my friends equally, be sincere and caring. Be real, true and not fake.
I know that this is a very very late timing to make a resolution but its never to late. I will start now :)

Ooh and i am going to start upating my blog. Promise to self, my online diary. This post is sincerely honest, so don't judge. The reason why i have the guts to post this is probably because i know no one reads this space anymore thats why. If it gets any livelier i should think i will remove this post.

hehe i am like dead on social networks beside twitter. gonna start blogging about the nitty gritty, bits and pieces in my life again on this space. don't find me a bore, i am just someone trying to keep records of happenings in my life.

Hello freedom, you are awesome and I am loving you.

Been having a great time for the past couple of days and its amazing. Feeling so relaxed and chilled without having any stress in my life, but perhaps, a little stress is good. I still have not tuned myself to the fact that I have graduated from the 3 years of poly life and its seems like another holiday.
Nevertheless I am embracing the freedom and I love it :) Now i have to begin on the list of things that I would have to get started on.

Sadly my two trips are cancelled yes- I know right. Dreams dashed badly. Because only 4 of us can make it due to work and other commitments. Le sigh, seriously.

It was a great weekend. Thursday night was the first day after the exams ended and so we headed to town for Modesto's and chilled at Wild Oats thereafter. Yes its a beautiful place! I am so glad that we are planning prom though, big thing to look forward. Dinner on Sunday with Mr L and the team @ the place. Hehehe gonna be so chill.

Friday, uh yeah friday. Met Nich for awhile before heading to combined cell (tertiary), it was fun and i enjoyed the games. Pretty nice gathering there.
Afterparty @ Z. With Raylene and Keith, not bad DJ @ Z was great, Rehab. So yeah it was a pretty good night and we had Swee Choon for supper. Geez. Fats overload. Lo Mai Kai+ Chicken wings+ wanton soup. And they ordered other stuff for themselves, yes at breakfast time.

Saturday was spent in JB! Nandos for lunch; My favoriteeeeeee chicken. I love it to the max. Than we went to Holiday Plaza and KSL shopping  mall. Yipee. It was such a perfect day minus the commotion we had in the middle and the long bus rides' wait with stupid idiotic people trying to squeeze their way through and do all the typical stuff like cutting the queues. Annoyed, highly annoyed.
So yeah we bought plenty of food, I bought. Cone pizza, auntie anne's, crepe, tempura fries, takoballs and yoghurt. Tell me how many calories i gained.
But the 3 hours of K made up for it, i love singing k in jb! Its cheap and the systems are updated and new and the room is hugeass :) Thats the reason i head to jb so often. Almost once a week?

And of course, Sunday! Surprised Audrey @ Smith's Fish and Chips. She was truly surprised, aww. And  its kind of a joke. We couldn't find the place and ended up walking for an hour around Raffles Place. Joke!! But the walk was worth it, had a beautiful time chilling out with my dearest sisters by the river. And continued at Starbucks. We laughed till our stomachs ached and Auddieball was strangling me and Cherilynn. It was really hilarious, because we were matching each other up with guys. Can't wait for more of such dinners!

Gonna continue updating my blog everyday if possible, so stay tuned guys.
Cheers, live it up (:
